About me
I have played a pivotal role in advancing personalized, competency-based learning systems throughout my 15-year career in the charter world. Beginning in Operations, I transitioned to a paraprofessional role, then spent five years as a Special Education teacher, and later served as a Director of Special Education for six years. In these roles, I have supported the implementation of personalized learning by focusing on inclusive education, ensuring that each student's unique needs and competencies are addressed. Currently, I support over 30 Independent Study Charter schools with training, technical support, and collaboration in implementing their Special Education programs.
